Funding for Research in Alaska National Parks

Two Research Fellowship Programs offer Funding for Research in Alaska National Parks.
Two fellowship programs offer up to $8,000 for multiple fellows to conduct research projects in subarctic and arctic national parks, for use over one or two years. The fellowships are most appropriate for graduate students, but others may apply. Deadline for applications is February 15, 2012. Discover Denali Fellowship Program is for work in or near Denali National Park and Preserve. Murie Science and Learning Center Fellowship Program is for work in one or more of the following parks: Denali, Bering Land Bridge, Cape Krusenstern, Gates of the Arctic, Kobuk Valley, Noatak, Wrangell-St. Elias, Yukon-Charley. Researcher-in-Residence Program at Denali National Park and Preserve for 2012 or 2013
Established researchers are encouraged to apply to be one of two researchers-in-residence at Denali National Park and Preserve in either 2012 or 2013. Deadline for applicants for either year is March 10, 2012. Information is
