Title: The Analysis of Photovoice Data With the Assistance of ATLAS.ti: Towards a Methodological Model in Multi-Method Ethnographic Research
Presented by: Ricardo Contreras, Director of the Americas, ATLAS.ti 
Abstract: Ricardo Contreras will discuss the role of computer-assisted qualitative data analysis (CAQDAS) in the analysis of photovoice data in the context of multi-method ethnographic research. Specifically discussing how one of these software packages, ATLAS.ti, can be used to analyze photographs and associated accounts and how this process, as well as its results, can be incorporated into the whole of the analysis of data collected through ethnographic fieldwork. The process will be illustrated in reference to the NSF-funded study “Managed Migration and the Value of Labor”.
