Documentary Showing: Frame by Frame

Rolling mountains, women boxing & rich photography – is that what you imagine when you hear Afghanistan? Through the steady drip of war-focused news stories coming from Afghanistan, we think we know a place, a people, a history. But do we? I’m excited to let you know — a new documentary film called FRAME BY FRAME is coming to the Kiggins Theatre to show the life of four Afgan photojournalists as they navigate an emerging and dangerous media landscape (one that was illegal during the Taliban Regime). This award-winning film had its world premiere at SWSW this year and since then it has only been seen in select film festivals — until now!

The film is about four local photojournalists facing the realities of building Afghanistan’s first free press before and after the fall of the Taliban Regime!

Take a look at the trailer and mark your calendar for September 21st at 7:30 pm at the Kiggins Theatre, 1011 Main Street, Vancouver, WA.

If this looks like a film you’re into seeing, you can help the screening to happen by reserving your ticket and spreading the word. We only have 4 days left to pre-sell only 43 tickets — this ‘tips’ or reserves the theater and guarantees that it will happen.

Hope to see you there!
