Mount Rainier National Park internship position

Mount Rainier National Park has an open internship position for advanced undergraduates interested in gaining more archaeology experience.  The park is looking for a summer archaeology intern for back country survey, testing, monitoring, and data entry.  Students will have an opportunity to gain experience doing cultural resource management for the National Park Service.  Interns may also participate in various park research projects.  The park will provide housing and a small daily stipend for food ($20/day).  Students may be able to arrange for internship credit with a faculty member, if credit is desired/needed.  The park would like someone interested in about an 8 week stint, although this is flexible.  There is one position still open.  Interested students should contact Ben Diaz at: benjamin_diaz@nps.gov.
